28) I made a phone call to one of my daughters and got the
answering machine and left a message. About 10 minutes
later I had a phone call from a fellow who told me his name
and said I had left my message on his answering machine
and thought he'd let me know so I could redial my daughters
number and leave the message for her. I thought this was
very kind and appreciated it

27)  I was trying to get some rust stains out of my concrete driveway, but without a lot of success. I heard a neighbor down the street using a pressure washer to clean off his driveway and thought that that might help with removing my stains. I went over to ask him if I could borrow it when he was through; “Of course” he said. Then I noticed that he also had some stains on his driveway, so I went back home got the cleaning solution and helped him to remove his stains. When we finished I went back home to clean my driveway, and found that I was out of cleaner.

Bugger!

But a good deed anyway.
