As the month of December comes to an end and the Acts of Kindness blog draws to a close, I would like to thank all those who submitted so generously of their sepcial acts. May you all be blessed for doing so.
To close out this blog I would like to offer a special prayer;
Our dear Father in Heaven, we give thanks to Thee this day for the many blessings which Thou hast given us as a result of these generous Acts of Kindness; for the warmth of thy Spirit, and for the increase of blessings as we follow Thy admonition to “love thy neighbor.”
Please bless those who have given so generously of their Acts of Kindness that they may have Thy Acts of Kindness visited upon them.
We are truly thankful for thy Son Jesus Christ whose birth we have celebrated this season. For His sacrifice which He gave to atone for the sins of the world that we may have life more abundantly.
Make this New Year a year of goodness to those who would seek Thee. Open up the windows of heaven and shower them with love, knowledge, good health and welfare.
Bless our leaders that they may lead in righteousness, remembering that it was by Thy hand that this great nation was formed and has grown. Bless them in their councils that they will turn unto Thee in their decision making.
Bless those who protect us from the evils of the world, protect them and their families from harm.
In these hard economic times bless those who are without that they may have their champions who will council with them and direct them in ways that they might be lifted up and brought into the pathway of a better life.
Give us the strength and the wisdom to deal justly with those who have wronged us. Forgive us as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. Be with us always that through our righteousness we may call upon the armies of heaven to give us support and protection.
Bless those little children who have been put upon, exploited and abused, that they may know that there will be a shinning ray of hope when Thou shall restore unto them all that was lost.
Bless the sick, the infirm, and the aged that they might see the heavenly hosts which attend unto them daily.
Be with our families that we might enjoy all the blessings of heaven.
In humility we say these things in the sacred name of Thy Son Jesus Christ,
Amen
